⚠️ Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently deleted.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your SelftapePartner account and all associated data in two ways:

Option 1: Delete in App (Recommended)

You can delete your account directly from the app:

  1. Open the Scene Partner app
  2. Go to Profile/Settings
  3. Scroll down to "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm deletion

This will immediately delete:

  • Your Firebase Auth account
  • All Firestore data (scripts, metadata, credits)
  • All local data (cache, preferences)
  • RevenueCat subscription data

Option 2: Request via Email

If you prefer to request account deletion via email, send an email to:

Email: info@selftapepartner.com

Please include the following information in your email:

  • Your account email address
  • Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  • Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account

Note: Email requests are processed within 30 days. For immediate deletion, use the in-app option.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • • Your account information (email, name, profile data)
  • • All uploaded scripts and associated metadata
  • • Generated audio files and voice settings
  • • Practice history and usage statistics
  • • Subscription and payment information (processed through RevenueCat)
  • • Credit balances and transaction history
  • • App preferences and settings

Data Retention Period

After you request account deletion:

  • • Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receipt
  • • Some data may be retained for up to 90 days for legal and security purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal compliance)
  • • After the retention period, all data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered

What Happens to Your Subscription

If you have an active subscription:

  • • Your subscription will be cancelled immediately upon account deletion
  • • You will not be charged for future billing cycles
  • • Refunds for the current billing period are handled according to our Terms of Service
  • • Subscription data is managed through RevenueCat and Apple/Google Play, and may be retained according to their policies

Data That Cannot Be Deleted

Some data may be retained for legal or operational reasons:

  • • Transaction records required for tax and accounting purposes (anonymized)
  • • Data required to comply with legal obligations
  • • Aggregated, anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked to your account

Third-Party Services

Please note that some data may be stored by third-party services we use:

  • Firebase (Google): Authentication and database data - deleted with your account
  • RevenueCat: Subscription data - may be retained according to their privacy policy
  • Apple/Google Play: Purchase history - managed by Apple/Google according to their policies
  • Firebase Analytics: Aggregated analytics data - anonymized and cannot be linked to your account

You may need to contact these services directly if you wish to delete data they hold about you.

Alternative: Request Partial Data Deletion

If you don't want to delete your entire account but want to remove specific data, you can:

  • Delete individual scripts from within the app (available now)
  • Contact us at info@selftapepartner.com to request deletion of specific data types
  • Update your account information in the app settings
